The second image in a series where abstract "landscapes" are created with intentional camera motion or moving objects in front of the camera. This long-exposure image was created by moving a piece of white paper perpendicular to the lens on a white paper background. All of the color and some of the texture occured in camera. It just took a lot of coaxing through levels, curves, and exposure adjustments to bring it out. Then some texture was added to finish the composition. "Even if I knew that tomorrow the world would go to pieces, I would still plant my apple tree." --Martin Luther Two apples in an old, worn wooden crate. Day 144 of 365 Copyright 2022 Scott Norris Creative scottnorrisphotography.com scott-norris.pixels.com scottnorriscreative.com
"This is the very condition of existence. To become spring, means accepting the risk of winter. To become presence, means accepting the risk of absence." --Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, Manon, Ballerina Day 143 of 365 This digital manipulation started out as a simple angled photo of a folded piece of white copy paper on my desk. After getting it into Photoshop, it reminded me of a barren snowy mountain winter scene. So I went about creating such an image with added "clouds", some manipuilation of the straight fold line, added textures, and contrast/brightness adjustement. Now, I wonder if this place exists somewhere or is it only in my imagination. Copyright 2022 Scott Norris Creative scottnorrisphotography.com scott-norris.pixels.com scottnorriscreative.com
