"Things are not always what they seem; the first appearance deceives many..." --Phaedrus This reflection of the trees on the ice was shot looking down from the Milwaukee River riverbank. It was cloudy and cold. I am struck by how much the colors of the ice and the mud under the frozen surface resemble a sunrise/sunset on the horizon.
