The tomatoes are beginning to turn red in our garden! Since we lack proper space to garden in our yard, our neighbor graciously offered some of her space for us to use this year. So we have tomatoes, a few onion, a few carrots and some herbs over there. These three little guys are some of the first "fruits" of our (ok, mostly my wife's) labor. If you have never had a fresh-picked tomato, you are missing out - they are just delicious! With some garden fresh basil and mozzerella, these will make for a nice caprese salad. Maybe I'll take some photos of that too. Day 313 of my 365 photo a day project. Copyright 2016 Scott Norris Photography scottnorrisphotography.com
Today, day 312, was a very busy day. Like most weekends for most families, there is a lot of stuff to do around the house. And lots of of things to prepare before the work week grind starts up in earnest on Monday morning. Now, as you can plainly see from today's image of the day, my photography took a backseat. However, there is no need to worry. I've got some great ideas for tomorrow so stay tuned! Day 312 of my 365 photo a day project. Copyright 2016 Scott Norris Photography scottnorrisphotography.com
The monkey bars, the swings, the slides, and the fire poles. My son visited all of them multiple times on this summer morning visit to the playground. It was quite warm and humid. So was doing my best to stay relatively still and in whatever shade was available. However, with a two and a half year old, that is easier said than done. In one of the rare moments of stillness, I was able to capture this shot of the yellow bars and the open expanse of bright blue sky. Another in what is proving to be a long list of simple, minimalist compositions in this project. Day 311 of my 365 photo a day project.
