Go slow please. On a multi-use walking / bike path like this one, it is pretty obvious why this was stenciled on the asphalt. But after I shot this, I started to think about other ways I should take heed of the sign. I certainly could use a bit of slowing down. Day 296 of my 365 photo a day project. "Only those who will risk going too far can possibly find out how far one can go." --T.S. Eliot This is how I see my son quite often these days - running to and fro, exploring everything he sees. Pushing limits is built in to the DNA of a toddler. Now sometimes that can be a challenge, but it is certainly an absolute joy to watch him go. And I'll do my best to not slow him down too much on his daily forays into the unknown. I took this shot on the roof top deck of the Milwaukee County War Memorial / Milwaukee Art Museum building along the lake in Milwaukee. Ah, the sign of a well organized basement or garage workshop. Rows upon rows of old mayonaise and jam jars filled with nuts a bolts and screws and nails. This photo was taken in the basement work space of one my neighbors. And this is only a very very small piece of an incredible smorgasbord of neatly layed out tools, hardware, oils, paints and more. I have an open invitation to shoot down there. So I will definitely being taking her up on the offer. And I may never come back. Day 294 of my 365 photo a day project.
