"Artists are just children who refuse to put down their crayons." --Al Hirschfeld Nothing brings back more childhood memories than a plastic tub filled with hundreds of old, well used, multi-colored crayons from the 1970s. “We have to continually be jumping off cliffs and developing our wings on the way down.” --Kurt Vonnegut This is me jumping off a cliff and praying for wings! After 31 days of shooting for my 365 project, I really hit a road block creatively today. Not much energy to shoot anything either. So I decided to try something completely different. I created a pinhole attachment for my Nikon D700 (made from tin, tape, and the body cap) and started shooting. Well, what you see here is the first shot out of about a hundred shots. And as simple as it is, it is my favorite. So the creative light is only half on at the moment. But that is halfway to full. Where will full take me? Stay tuned!!
