There is a cool wall of convex mirrors at Discovery World along the lakefront in Milwaukee. I was there with the family (we have an annual pass, SO worth it). Anyway, the mirrorred wall. I'd love to set up my camera with a tripod and get a cool HDR pano of the whole thing (I need to ask about that). But I did have my cell phone. So I thought I'd try to get a quick reflection street-style shot / self-portrait. My aim was to get myself and the random folks behind me in the shot, but not the cell phone. This is the result. Shot with my Droid Turbo and then downloaded and processed in Photoshop. Day 95 of 365 Copyright 2016 Scott Norris Photography www.scottnorrisphotography.com
These two trees seem to be embracing or at least leaning on each other - like two old friends enjoying each other's company. Shot in Lake Park, Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Day 94 of my 365 Photo-a-day Project Copyright 2016 Scott Norris Photography www.scottnorrisphotography.com
As 2016 begins, we should all sit down, relax, and imagine what we can create in the coming months. After all, at this moment, the year is a blank slate. Focusing on what you want to acheive is the first step toward making it happen. And you'll never get there if you never try. So, take a quiet moment and think about it, and then make it happen in 2016! A park bench in the snow and ice on New Year's Day in Milwaukee's Lake Park along the Lake Michigan shoreline.
