All that was left after the bath was a jumbled pile of letters and numbers in the corner of the tub. After the drying, brushing of teeth and putting on of pajamas, I had to grad my camera and come back to get a shot or two. After all, that is what I do - take photographs. And I did not have a shot of the day yet. Day 187 of my 365 photo a day project. Copyright 2016 Scott Norris Photography scottnorrisphotography.com

The typical basement in a typical middle-class mid-western suburb home. It's got the dark wood paneled walls, furniture from the 1970s, carpet from the 1980s, acoustic tile drop ceiling complete with water stains, fluorescent light bulbs, and that musty smell that really never goes away. And the color scheme, perhaps at one time hip and cool, is WAY out-dated. But, it is comfortable and cozy and like the best friend you haven't seen in years, it is familiar and welcoming.
