On a walk today to Lake Michigan, I stopped at the Lake Park Pavillion to enjoy the view of the water and to enjoy the relatively warm early March weather. As I sat there, the view through the stucco arches of the picnic shelter reminded me for some reason of paintings I've seen of Mediterranean villas on the cliffs and the noonday sun on the blue waters of the sea. That is what I was hoping to capture and create with this image. Day 163 of 365. Copyright 2016 Scott Norris Photography scottnorrisphotography.com
Found along Downer Avenue on Milwaukee's East Side, these decaying and crumbling concrete stairs lead up to a locked door of an empty second floor office space. I'm amazed they are still standing. Day 162 of 365 Copyright 2016 Scott Norris Photography www.scottnorrisphotography.com
