"The best way out is always through." --Robert Frost An important lesson I've learned through this photo a day project is when you are struggling to create and your muse has taken the day (or week) off, the best way to get past that block is to just keep going. You may not produce your best work. In fact, it may be awful. But every time you stop, look, compose, and click the shutter, you are practicing. And practice and perseverance is what will make you better. Day 255 of my 365 photo a day project. Copyright 2016 Scott Norris Photography scottnorrisphotography.com
"Order and simplification are the first steps toward the mastery of a subject." --Thomas Mann I am still climbing those steps, ever upward. Mastery? No. I think of it like trying to reach the horizon. You will travel far and learn many things, but you will never reach it. But in the end, it is about the journey and not the destination.
