My goal with this image was to create a soft, sublime, atmospheric abstract out of something from inside the house. I wanted a hint of contour, almost like a landscape with the morning sun peaking over the hills. Day 182 of my 365 photo a day project. While watching my son play with an old vintage Fisher-Price school house, I noticed this upside down plastic tray - completely emptied, of course, with the magnetic letters everywhere. Shot with my cell photo as a three shot pano (I wanted the final image to be large), I flipped the image horizontally to correct the reversed letters and processed in black and white.
