I spent part of Saturday at the fabulous Milwaukee Art Museum with my son. While most of our time was spend going and up and down (and up and down) stairs and looking out the windows at the spider webs and the lake, I did have a few moments to take in some of the modern and pop art. In my opinion, it is one of the best collections anywhere. And, of course, I had to grab a shot of the exterior. Some call this building the sexiest in North America and I am not one to argue! This image was taken with my Droid Turbo and processed using Lightroom, Photoshop, and heavy use of Topaz Impression and added textures. Day 339 of my 365 photo a day project. These small containers of washable paint belong to my son. I noticed the complementary colors when I was cleaning his painting supplies and I thought, 'I have to shoot those!' Of course, I dropped everything and took the plastic buckets to my camera stand. Priorities, you know... Day 338 of my 365 photo a day project. This is our beautiful little cookie monster. As I start the countdown of the last 30 days of my 365 project, I want to revisit some themes from the past year. Of course, my son has been a big part of the challenge. His imagination, the way he sees the world, and his joy in discovering...everything, has motivated me to try new things and see things with new new eyes. Day 337 of my 365 photo a day project.
