I recently got the Blue Yeti Microphone for Christmas. While I can't claim to know a lot about the different mics on the market, I can say this one is awesome. I don't have a radio voice ( a radio face, maybe.), but this mic makes me sound SO much better than the one built into my webcam. It is USB, so it is easy to install (duh, just plug it in) and use. There are 4 pattern selections - stereo, cardiod, omni, and bidirectional - and it has a handy mute button just above the volume knob. If you have frequent online hangouts, conference calls, or create your own podcasts or tutorials, I highly recommend this microphone. http://amzn.to/1Py4l6H In the coming year, you'll hear a lot more from me, as one of my resolutions is to create A LOT more photography tutorials. Stay tuned!! Day 91 of my 365 Project. Copyright 2015 Scott Norris Photography www.scottnorrisphotography.com
Peach. Lavender. Thistle. Orange-Yellow. Or was it Yellow-Orange? Some very obvious names and some that made you scratch your head. I think it would have been great fun to be paid to name the colors of each crayon. Which was/is your favorite color? This shot came about after I spent the better part of the morning shoveling snow from our driveway, sidewalk, and front steps. I decided I wasn't going back out after all that. So what did I decided to do instead? Grab the crayons and color! Day 90 of 365 Copyright 2015 Scott Norris Photography www.scottnorrisphotography.com
My son's new wheels - a classic candy apple red Radio Flyer tricycle. What a sweet ride. He's going to be the envy of all the kids in the neighborhood. Well, he will be, as soon as his legs are long enough to pedal the thing. Because of the layout of our living room, I had to shoot this as a panorama with 4 vertical frames to get the whole trike in the shot.
