A dry leaf sits on a park bench in Whitefish Bay, Wisconsin. The colors are just about past peak now around here, but the beauty of Autumn is still all around. Soon enough, the trick or treaters will be at our door, daylight savings time will end, and Jack Frost will nip at our noises. The gold and red and yellow will give way to brown and gray and finally to the white of snow. But until then, I will try to capture as much of Nature's fireworks as I can. "Since you went away the days grow long And soon I'll hear old winter's song But I miss you most of all, my darling When autumn leaves start to fall" --from "Autumn Leaves" performed by Eva Cassidy Copyright 2015 Scott Norris Photography www.scottnorrisphotography.com
Now that October is upon us the leaves have started changing colors. I found these three Oak leaves along a walkway in Riverside Park near my home. While most of the leaves are still green in the area, you can see a hint of color hear and there. Soon enough the parks, woods, and forests will explode in ambers, oranges, golds, and reds. And I plan on being out there shooting a ton of photographs! Hopefully, I'll come back with one or two keepers. Copyright 2016 Scott Norris Photography scottnorrisphotography.com
